STORY

Mikyo Watarai started boxing when he was five years old.

His father told him to go to boxing gym when he was bullied by his friends at the kindergarten and was crying. That’s when his boxing life began.

He admired Katsushige Kawashima, a world champion, in the same boxing gym. He wanted to have a champion belt which only the strongest man can wear like him. Then he decided to aim for world champion.

The boxer he admires the most is Floyd Mayweather Jr., the former world champion of five weight classes. He wants to be a strongest boxer with speed, power, and mostly defense ability.

His nickname, "GHOST", was given by Valentine Hosokawa, the former Japan super lightweight champion. It means he is the strongest boxer who is hard to be caught like a ghost, and has absolute power like a ghost of death.
